Ms. Manuela is a pianist and a music educator. She started playing classical piano at the age of 13 years old. As a teenager, she won a scholarship at the best music school in the Dominican Republic “Estudio Dina” and years later took piano lessons at the conservatory of music in Santo Domingo with renowned pianists like Maria Morel-Pierret. Her music mentor for several years was a famous Dominican violinst and conductor Caonex Peguero Camilo. Years later, Manuela moved back to New York to accomplish her dream to become a professional pianist and a music conductor. She mastered her piano skills with renowned pianists like Amber Hsuan Liao and Barbara Podgurski. In 2020, she won a summer scholarship to study conducting with Miguel Harth-Bedoya, a famous Peruvian conductor and later on took conducting lessons with the music director and conductor Scott Jackson Wiley.
