Ms. Kathie has been playing the violin since she was 5 years and has never stopped playing ever since. She held her very first violin recital when she was just 11 years old! She then got to to play with the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra (MYO), CYCNY Youth Orchestra and CPSM string camp at the Queens College Aaron Copland School of Music. She started teaching in 2007 by coaching her orchestra peers. With all this experience she then attended pre-college at Carnegie Mellon for violin studies. She later graduated the University at Buffalo with a Bachelors for Music Performance and now she currently plays with Litha Symphony Orchestra. For her students at Vienna Music School, she wants them to have fun and have memorable moments in their very own musical journey just as she did. She is looking forward to provide guidance to every student at their own pace. She believes if her students have the passion for music nothing is impossible.
