Ms. Juney is a versatile vocalist, music educator, and band leader based in New
York City. Her musical journey began at a young age when she discovered her love
for singing at eight and later picked up the guitar at twelve. In 2016, Juney gained
recognition as the front vocalist of her rock band “Juney,” captivating audiences at
various music venues in New York City and sharing the stage with renowned artists
like Michael Angelo Batio and John 5.
Driven by a passion for teaching music, Ms. Juney has been an educator in the
New York City area for three years. She imparts her knowledge and expertise in
singing, piano, and guitar/ukulele lessons, guiding students of all levels. Her
dedication and guidance have helped students succeed in exams such as NYSSMA
and ABRSM. Ms. Juney believes that music is accessible to everyone at any age. She
tailors her teaching approach accordingly.
Juney is currently studying with soprano Dr. Sherry Overholt along with pianist
Donna Gill. She is pursuing her Master of Music at the Aaron Copland School of
Music at Queens College. She holds a Bachelor of Music Diploma from City College,
where she studied Classical Voice Performance.
